I actually got up at 6:30am to go get the $599 front load washer and dryer from Sears. Of course they were completely out of them and supposed can't get them until February. I was pissed and told the salesman that's a bait and switch tactic in front of a bunch of people and he walked away from me and wouldn't help me after that.
I ended up buying a much nicer pair for $999 and still won't get them until February, but they were $1000 marked down from over $2000, so it was still a good deal, just more than I wanted to spend. Our old washer crapped out on Tuesday, so I had to get something quick. We're borrowing my parents washer while they're down south for the winter.
