No taxes for 8-9 months would destroy the governments income. Then how do we pay for roads, military, education, federally backed hospitals, federally backed banks, DNR, Police forces, ect, ect, ect.....

Oh and lets not forget all the federal employees who would then become jobless, wow, theres like another million jobs out the door. Oh and those of us dependent on unemployment right now, yeah, we would be screwed, then there would be an even worse recession

The only way the government could make money without taxation would be to control a resource this country has, say grain, or steel, ect, and that would be *GASP* SOCIALISM!!!! DUN DUN DUN!!!!!!!!!!

So yeah, your problem solving skills leave alot to be desired.
