Some hold up if you shift nice, others break. Depends on how you drive it. Make sure you have a decent clutch and cross your fingers the tranny holds up. But, I would start saving up for built tranny if your concerned.

Depends on the year of the tranny and the torque you are making. Most commonly DSM trannys become unshiftable from worn syncros/gear or broken shift forks, but that has nothing to do with power, just how it was driven. 3rd/4th are weaker in 2G trannys.
