If memory serves correct, this mod worked great, increased spool.

I can't imagine a turbo that out of balance working for very long, but to each his own.

Yea, the guy on the boards did say that it improved spool time a bit. I can't find the thread on mx6.com though.

I cant imagine those welds and that material holding at the temps and RPMs that a turbo sees either tho lol. To me its still a fail until its done right, ie a full weld versus spot weld, and using the proper materials, and balance.
