feeler 1992 talon tsi, 5spd, awd, bad bottom end.

So I have decieded to test out the market, see if anyone on here would like to pick up my talon. If ya have read through my project thread, you know the story all too well. Can check it out here-
http://www.mitsustyle.com/forums/showthread.php?t=22100
(last page is the current state of the vehicle)

Anyways the bottom end of the motor is shot, loud knocking noise coming from the lower end caused from some mad valve contact. I know of a cheap motor (one that I myself was going to pick up) that needs a headgasket and water pump (can supply buyer with both of those brand new). Also the o2 sensor was damaged somehow, and I have another one on the way already. The head I just threw on there was in pretty good condtion as well. Tranny shifts good, slight grind in second.
MODS-
evo 3 gt 16g (supposedly from archer racing)
2g mani
2g throttle body elbow
turbo xs boost controller
boost gauge
air fuel gauge (wasnt functioning properly due to the bad o2 sensor)
arp head studs, torqued twice.
walbro 190
basically brand new tires

Exterior wise (color is maroon by the way), to make it look really nice, a new drivers side front fender could be put on (or the current one painted), needs a new windshield, and the front bumper cover is pretty cracked. Nothing to spendy or hard to find. Only two spots of rust that I have seen, underbody is pretty clean too.

Interior, needs a good cleaning, have never really gotten around to cleaning it. Has tan leather, has a tear in the drivers side, and a small burn hole in passenger, rears look great. No spare tire cover, does have a spare though.

Im asking $1500 obo, I dropped $2500 on it so far (including car price), and could be resold for that or more if some time is put in. Shoot me an offer, or if you have a running laser or something to trade that works too....haha.

Thanks for the space,
Dan.
(pics are during the head swap process, can get more if requested)

Just no motor with tranny, or just a gutted shell with interior that rolls. Make an offer, send me a pm and I will see what I can do.

I'd also potentially be interested in the rolling shell.

I will pm the both of you later this week one I yank the motor out of this thing. I gotta make some decisions pretty quick here. But the rolling shell idea doesn't sound too bad. Like I said, I'll let y'all know what's going down this week, if you're still intersted.
