Drivetrain whirr on deceleration

Post the specs of your car so peeps can make better educated guesses. Miles, lube history, etc, etc too.

It's hard to get under a moving car with a stethoscope to check every little thing.

no kidding, thats why i'm a bit stumped.

93 talon tsi, 155k miles, bone stock, the Redline cocktail in the transmission, MT90 in the rear end (I think). Dont know a whole lot about the history as I just got it this spring.
