I think it's funny that you would start pointing fingers at someone for stealing your "friends" shit. Your friend had nothing to do with this. Plain and simple, you agreed to his asking price (otherwise he wouldn't have the tranny in the first place, obviously), he received something different that what you described, and now you've been dodging taking care of it all for too long. You brought all the phone calls, and bs on yourself dude. None of this is about taking anyone to court, or who does and doesn't take returns. It's about you being a PITA to deal with, and not manning up and taking care of a mistake that was no ones fault (neither of you knowing that it wasn't as described. Hopefully.....)
