There's a decent WW that just went up in the for sale section, might want to look at that.
JK, don't let him sell his car!

Re: Better Sand on the Road than Sand in my Vag
I was wondering wtf was going on.. Been noticing here and there that Chris didn't have a car and was wondering what happened. I just opened this thread and I'm glad to hear everyone is OK. In the end, it's a car.. and you guys are OK, that's all that matters. Now on to the next car/adventure.
BTW, after having my seat time in an X, I'd probably lean that way myself. However, the trunks are a major negative if strollers(if kids are in the plans..) or anything large needs to go in there ever.

Re: Better Sand on the Road than Sand in my Vag
Kids, LOL!
The largest thing I ever put in my evo8's trunk was coolers for the dyno day, they are bigger but still not big enough for much. I couldn't even fit a pair of skis back there.
Thx again for the kind words everyone, the support from the community has really kept me going. I'm chomping at the bit for insurance $$ to come through, then who knows.

Re: Better Sand on the Road than Sand in my Vag
I am unbelievably pissed off right now. Just got the check after waiting all week for it, and its not made out correctly, so its does me no good. FML. State farm says they are going to try and hand-deliver a new check to me tomorrow morning.

I can't picture you being mad. Your unbelievable pissed off is my mildly upset, methinks. You need to break something valuable with your fists and scare the neighbors with your swearing. If they hand deliver it, it means they care. Which is good.

Damn that really sucks Checks are so simple, a name and an amount...their AP dept. must suck. Hopefully they get it squared away first thing tomorrow morning.

Damn, that sucks. Did they screw up the check because you had them make it out to whoever you're buying a car from?

I've seen him pissed, but he does it in an odd way with a smile on his face. You can't quite tell if he is going to start laughing or implode and turn into a black hole.

Re: Better Sand on the Road than Sand in my Vag
Anna said it was a black hole. I'm trying to let it ride. No it wasn't to be made out to a company, if anything I'll sign it over to whoever I buy something from (if I don't just deposit it).
I'm just sick of the waiting, 4 days is too long when I can pay them directly out of my account in a heartbeat. I know its not the way the world works, but it is borderline outrageous in this day and age.
I'm looking at a few cars this weekend and I just wanted the money part to be overwith well in advance, but now I'm scrambling, screwed as always by the universe. Such is my plight I guess.

Re: Better Sand on the Road than Sand in my Vag
Also, thanks Ricer Pete & Maple Grove Tire&Service! All four of my rims checked out straight, looks like I might need one new tire, there were rocks gouged DEEP into the bead where the tire meets the rim, but that rim is straight! Just needs to be re-finished, so I'll be looking into options for that next, hope its fixable.
One other rim has a veerrrry slight bend to it but it holds air...but I think that has been there, and Pete said that its nothing near as bad as some of the cars/rims he's seen go back out on the street. I'll throw these on whatever new vehicle I get and see how they hold up and go from there.
