starters

will a 7 bolt starter work with a 6 bolt?

IIRC you have a 2g. If so you need the 2g starter plate, but I believe they will bolt up. If you have the 6 bolt starter plate all you need to do is drill out one of the holes so it will line up.

Also, I think the 1g and 2g starter plates are different thicknesses, so it may affect your TOB's ability to disengage the clutch.

But yes, I think they will work.

i destroyed one of my three starter plates not sure which it was i hope i still got the 6 bolt starter plate
