Good luck with that... Just becuase you replace an OEM part under a service interval doesn't mean the work will be warrantied for an additional 60k interval. Depending on who did it, it might be warrantied for a year after the repair, but it is likely to only be applicable to the person who paid for the repair. You do have to take into consideration that it is a car that has 99k on it and isn't something that was driven off the show room floor last year.
I knew someone who had an issue with a new clutch that shattered. It was replaced by a reputable shop about 8 months prior by the previous owner. He wasn't able to get any help from the shop.
