Anyone have any tips on removing the front sight on a xd. I think i will be doing the dermal method as my local smith said he cant get it out in one peice.
Anyone have any tips on removing the front sight on a xd. I think i will be doing the dremal method as my local smith said he cant get it out in one peice.
I got it last night. I took a dremal tool with a tiny cutting disk and cut my old sight in half. Then i took the new night sight and did a quick couple passes with a fine file and it slid in tight. Looks good and now i can adjust it without a special pusher tool that will ding up the sight.
