Well we got a big hole and the footing this week! Got all the siding, mason and cabinets picked out.

Surprized they are digging the foundation while its this cold out, wont they have problems getting the concrete to cure?

That's what the blankets are for.

Concrete guys always work year round. People don't just stop building in the winter.

Just takes longer, the biggest issue is those frost chunks of dirt. Dont let them backfill the house with that crap or it will settle like crazy.
