Why are we discussing how much the stock rods can or cannot take when I already said I'm putting aftermarket rods in this motor?!? You guys just want to kick dead horses eh? :P
The last thing I'll say is the whole '400wtq' thing is semi true, but as always when quoting dyno numbers, it depends on the dyno

I ran '400wtq' or '450wtq' on my evo8 w/ stock bottom-end for...whatever I said above, 25k miles or so, and '370wtq' or '400wtq' for like 20k miles before that....that is about the limit though, I was happy and things looked just peachy when I pulled it apart...even after rolling through the ditch
