Wednesday, 5/7: Saison Furious - Furious wort, stolen from the Surly brewhouse, was fermented with 100% Brettanomyces yeast. After generously dry-hopping in the fermenter, we dry-hopped again with Slovenian hop variety, Styrian Golding. Flavors of orange zest, pineapple, and black pepper harmonize with a brettanomyces signature aroma of earthy barnyard funk. Made by Surly brewer Mike Willaford. When it's gone, it's gone!
