Re: No longer at White Bear Mitsubishi

Problem i had with the denali xl i had, is that its freakin huge, and gas hog.
The 2011+ Durangos have gotten awesome reviews. And the big thing is that it fits out needs as far as features, hideaway third row, and can tow. Kind of the sweet spot for us size wise, but still gets good gas mileage. Would be nice to get the hemi 8 cyl, but will likely end up with the 6 in the Crew trim.
Like anything its all about what your situation is and the needs/wants.

I don't know about you, but usually reliability and longevity are on every car buyer's list.

pffft. I daily drove DSMs for 14 years. Put on 180,000 miles between my two GSXs. Only time they left me stranded was because of a dead battery and that is hardly the car's fault. DSMs make great daily drivers if they aren't modded to hell and been ripped apart a dozen times.

Of course none of those circumstances exist anymore for DSMs.

later,
Curt

yeah the V6 Durangos get decent milage, have a great tow rating, and are unibody so would still be somewhat comfy of a ride, and a 3rd row however not sure how usable it really is.

The Yukon hybrid actually get decent milage for their size, city mpg is better than Durango. Which is why im curious about them too. But theyll be bigger and on a truck frame so not sure if i really need that.

The 2015 have cylinder deactivation so they get OK mpg for their size, but still not that great in my opinion.
