Yeah, something along those lines, would be my guess. It will have paint instead of stickers, but some thing like that. Also, no performance stuff.

I dunno, they did paint the intake on a Civic orange once, I don't know how much more performance you can get than that.

Yea, I don't know if they'll ever do that. There was an episode of True Life once on MTV, it was called 'I want to be a street racer.' They pitted two street racers against each other, built the hell out of their cars & built up to a huge show down on a 1/8 mile track. Already, I was keen on how lame this was going to be, but one of the kids had a red 1g awd dsm. They built it up all bad-ass or whatever (no details, really), slapped NOS on it, and sent it out the door.
They pitted this car against a honda civic, which was built up even more so, with a full engine transplant, turbo kit, etc. So, Then they get back to this whole race at the end. 1/8 mile....awd vs fwd....who do you think won?
Pretty decent show, but could have gone way more in depth, and I really only wanted to watch it to see the dsm kill the honda in the end.
The first 5 episodes of pimp my ride were awesome; now it's starting to get 'same-old, same-old' ...still, I wish I had those 20" 'same-old, same-old' rims...

Re: Pimp My Ride
Mike (Raptor) and Swanny (Niterdr) were at my house in MN when that aired. It was funny because the girl went out street racing when the car was fully built and the guy in the 1g found out exactly what she had, (stupid women, the guys were PISSED OFF, when they found out she had givin everything away) then the 1g told the guys that were building his car, and they built it more. They did go into some details as to what was in the car. if they had switched vendors that were building the cars then it would have been much less of a race and more of a pounding. Apexi was the ones that built the civic (what a waste) and some honda vendor built the eclipse.
And it wasnt True life that did the show, it was on discovery because american chopper was on afterwards.

Re: Pimp My Ride
Did anyone watch the show tonight? Why the colors? The only think I liked about that car were probably the PSP's (alone) and the energy drink dispenser!...that would be awesome to have in my car. Everything else I didnt like.

Re: Pimp My Ride
What a fucking joke! LOL ISH was hilarious with the seats and sitting on the ice doing the whole "west side" thing. The colors where sweet, if they where sperate on 2 diff cars. Overall I liked the run flat tires and that's about it. lol

Re: Pimp My Ride
The INTERIOR WAS HIDEOUS!
The red bull dispenser was nice though
I hate those front body kits that make the nose cone like 6 inches longer than the car really is. All and all, it was pretty RICED

The most hilarious thing was that the final run, the talon broke a rear axle on the start line and still kicked her ass by a considerable margin. So in essence, it was 2wd vs fwd.
She posted everything on a website the night after they were done with it. Then bragged it up at the street races with her opponent there. They just went to the website and checked out what she had.

Re: Pimp My Ride
I was honestly expecting worse! The blue and graphics wasn't bad, just the whole car needed to be blue.

Hah Hah...I was thinking the same thing when I saw the front bumper. It's like having a seat right in front of the car (might come in handy when you're tired ro standing... ). I was laughing when the guy was sitting on the car made of ice and did the westside thing! Yeah, It would've looked better if the whole car was blue (that was a pretty nice blue on the car, though).

No, it was a black GS with (3) 5 spoke alloys, 1 spare rim, about half of a front bumper with some fucked up grill kit hanging from it.
Also, sunroof didnt close, windows didnt open... overall half of the things wrong with it have probably happened to us
