Thanks for talking to me like I'm a dumbass. I used a Craftsman compression tester. It worked fine; it did what it was designed to do. I did have the throttle at WOT while I turned the engine over during the test. I've been planning on doing a leakdown test ever since I did the compression test. My uncle, who is a mechanic, has a Snap On leak down tester. He, like every other mechanic at my work, has a vast array of Snap-On and MAC tools. I've used many, and I still like "el cheapo" Craftsman. I asked him awhile ago to do a leakdown test for me, but we have not set an exact date to do it. And if necessary, I can just go to QPR.
