Anyone with a 2G logger? This weekend?
My Talon pulled a CEL tonight on the way to work. Nothing changed in drivability but I really wanna make sure everything is good before I hit normal rush hour traffic Monday.
I would be in debt if I could meet up with someone sometime Sunday to have my code checked to be safe.

Korey what time do you work tomorrow? I think I might be able to swing down, have to see if I get time before work. Otherwise Eric can you PM me your cell so we can arrage something for sunday?
I am trying to make the drive as little as possible only for the fact i'd hate it to be something that could overheat the car ort antyhing that might cause anything I could worry about. Maybe I am being paranoid cause the fucking 1.8 is down till monday at the earliest.

Anytime 7-3pm, or you can go to a Checker auto store, and get the code to on a 2G, Either way it's all free.

Re: Anyone with a 2G logger? This weekend?
Thanks for the offers guy, as soon as aI read what Kory posted I forgot Checkers did it as well. And there was one about 2 miles from my house.
Got the code pulled. Idle Air Control Valve is the cause. Nothing big. lol Will try to find one out of a yard as Checker wanted $299 for the damn thing.

Just because the code says Idle air control valve, that doesn't always mean its the problem.

Re: Anyone with a 2G logger? This weekend?
Ok, so with that being the only code how could it not be the cause of the CEL?

Re: Anyone with a 2G logger? This weekend?
I didn't say it wasn't the problem.CEL codes can be kinda misleading sometimes. For instance, let say you get a EGR code, the problem could be the EGR solenoid, MAP sensor, wiring, etc.Anyways, I'd test the IAC before you replace it.

what he said, i got that code once, car idled like crap, so had to drive all the way back home (where my logger was stupid me) half an hour, got the code pulled, deleted the code, and drove it for about another 10k miles with out it again. don't worry about it, now, if it comes up again, talk to lightning again.
