Increased air flow, better spool up, compensate for bigger injectors, lets you blow off BOV to atmosphere with no ill effects. Can be used for tuning on its own, works pretty good in conjunction with a SAFC. Also allows you to ditch the stock intake pipe and mass air flow sensor. Probably some shit I am missing but them are the big plus sides it has.
