Searched H22 oil pump gear on Google and the first hit came up with:

Quote:
During last season, the L'Natural Civic suffered numerous oil pump gear failures which cost the team a few events. "We have broken a total of 10 oil pumps gears all over the country which costs us more than a few races," commented Lookofsky. "The factory oil pump gear is notorious for breaking in the H22."
I guess it is actually more common of a problem on the H22 then the B16 and B18.

Prodrive now known as Circuit Worx makes some. http://www.circuitworx.com/products.html

do you think it would be well worth the money?? sounds like it would be. looks like i'll have to add that to my list. damnit this is going to cost so much. but fuck it, it will be so worth it.

also:

First, CircuitWorx Oil Pump Gear user and engine builder Jeremy Lookofsky, recommends the use of a brand new oil pump case when you install the CircuitWorx gear. A new case will eliminate any out-of-roundness possibly caused by the OEM oil pump gear. A new case will provide good, cheap peace of mind.

any rough estimate on how much a new oil pump case costs??
