I've always wondered why I see so many Jewish people in St. Louis Park (where I live) driving BMWs and Mercedes.

But what's the stock tranny good for? I bet thats not 580whp..I'm getting my 2g tuned at DB on tuesday
and although the engine is completely built I don’t want to stress the transmission, not quite ready to get a shepp.

Some hold up if you shift nice, others break. Depends on how you drive it. Make sure you have a decent clutch and cross your fingers the tranny holds up. But, I would start saving up for built tranny if your concerned.

Depends on the year of the tranny and the torque you are making. Most commonly DSM trannys become unshiftable from worn syncros/gear or broken shift forks, but that has nothing to do with power, just how it was driven. 3rd/4th are weaker in 2G trannys.

Re: tehehodi/JDM 2g project car
Well the subframe is out, The gas tank is sorta out, just need to take out the fuel lines and a few connectors, SOMEONE called me home so i had to stop. It all took 4 beers to do, 2 of which were really working, the other 2 was celebration and a break. Called andrew, peter, swifty to see how to get off the ebrake cable but i figured it out eventually. Andrew was the only one that picked up anyway!hahaha anyway, here are some pics!
