Probably because no one orders from them anymore.

Somehow I get the feeling it will keep going for a long time after they are gone.

Re: Whatsup From Slowboy??!!!

Here is my experience with them so far. I ordered V3, wideband, and fitting adapters from them at tuners since they had some pretty good deals. prostreetdsmx1 and SBR Joe are the 2 that I ordered from.

Ordered V3 and wideband from SBR Joe. Received V3 within 3 days and wideband within 2 weeks. For the price, it was worth it. But didn't receive any tracking number for the wideband until I was wondering where it was and PM'd him. Next day, I got an email about the tracking number.

Ordered (2) -10an fitting adapters from prostreetdsmx1. Nothing in yet and it's been 3 weeks. This is ridiculous. How hard is it to ship 2 fittings WTF? This is the first thing I ordered before I ordered bunch of parts from different vendors. Everything but this came in. Even my order from Singapore came in before this!!! I don't know if tuners is having problems with the PMing but I've sent about 8 messages to him and only received 2 replies.

Re: Whatsup From Slowboy??!!!

I bought some pistons from slowboy a long ass time ago. After about a month of not getting them I called and asked where they were. The lady said they were on back order. I was like WTF its on back order and I wasnt even notified. Then I canceled my order and had to pay a 30% restocking fee. I wish I would have seen this thread before I bought from them.

LOL restocking fee on a part that was never in physical possession?!?! You should have called your credit card company and just had them reverse the charges. They're not supposed to even charge you until the part is shipped. If they require otherwise tell them to take a hike.

You had to pay a restocking fee on an item you they didn't even have to be able to remove it from stock? WTF is that shit?

It's amazing how the EvolutionM moderators will defend SBR until they're blue in the face and delete posts that say anything bad.

I noticed there were plenty of people who were willing to defend SBR in general. I think both parties were some what in the wrong on this one.

I totally agree, but it's not surprising to see that SBR still to this day can't ever admit even a sliver of fault.

I agree. Easiest thing to do would have been to cancel the build and move on. If Martin as he claims is moving a dozen engines a month on his own inside of SBR, I'm sure it would not have taken any time to move those parts to another customer. There's nothing special about building a 2.3L, all the parts are off the shelf these days.

Worst case, charge a cancellation fee that is refundable once those parts are sold to another customer.

This.

This is all I thought in my head as soon as I saw SBR's comment about selling a dozen motors a month. Why was it such a big deal to refund the guy his money if he wanted to cancel after 3 days of placing the order and you sell enough motors a month to not have this block sitting without being assembled. Obviously they aren't going to lose money if this was truly the case (it isn't).

The OP was pretty retarded though too.

Re: Whatsup From Slowboy??!!!

Ya I was a bit younger when that happened and didn't know the way of the world. If the same thing were to happen to me know i would not be paying a restocking fee. I was just floored that first off they charged me a restocking fee on something they don't even have, and secondly that it was 30%. Who the hell charges a 30% restocking fee, that is just outrageous.
