Angry 1g awd tranny install

Ok so I pullied my tranny out of my tonight. It came out pretty easy. I have done a hand full of transmissions on dsms but this car is hell for me. The trany sleds right out. Go to put new one in and it just wont fit. I keep geting stuck on the rear cradle. I just cant figure out how to get up and in on to the motor. Last time I had to pull the rear motor mount and jack the motor up to get the tranny in. anybody have a sercet?

just keep wiggling it, if it came out it will go in.

Sorry I'm not more specific but its been a while since I've done one, but I do remember having the same troubles, just rotate the trans a lot and it will squeeze by.

It's easier if you jack the trans up from the bottom with it rotated upwards so the center diff is angled up. This helps preventing you from getting hung up on the rear subframe.

Diff up and in first, rotate it up into place.

There is a triangle shaped bracket held on by 5 bolts in the front K member, remove this and it should slide in.
