boost tap

i tapped mine to the fuel pressure thing mounted on the firewall (driver side) is this going to be as accurate as other tapping places??

Yes, just make sure you tapped into the line running from the manifold to the solenoid, not the solenoid to the FPR.

i replaced the one way plastic fitting thats all ready on there, with a T, then connected my boost gauge

The FPR spot isn't the most accurate; however its the most common because its easily accesible and an easy place to tap into. I think the intake manifold would be most accurate.

The line running to the FPR solenoid comes directly off the intake manifold, make sure you tap before the solenoid as I previously mentioned though.
