Hks Vbc
I know this will seem like a stupid question.
I purchased this last week because i had some money in paypal and i liked the fact you can run it in the cabin.
However, im looking at the install instructions and its not like a normal ball and spring MBC install.
They say run a line from the compressor, and a line from the wastegate to a T with the orifice (little brass peice with a smaller hole) on the line from the compressor, then the other end of the T goes to the HKS VBC, then from the other side of the VBC goes to a Compressor Suction port.
Couple questions:
1) Is anyone running one of these?
2) What the fuck is a compressor suction port?
3) doesnt it seem like it would be stuck at min boost because the T makes it go from the compressor housing to the wastegate?
4) Could i just install it like a manual boost controller, (i.e Line goes from compressor housing to VBC, From VBC to wastegate, done.)
See diagram...
