Boost Issue

Hey everyone. I've done a little searching and from what I can tell I can't seem to find any topics on the issue I'm having. So here goes..

For a few months now it seems like everytime I start my car after it sitting overnight or when the engine is completly cold the turbo seems to spool really strangely. I'll start it up, hit the road and press the throttle maybe a quarter of a way down just to give it some gas, and it almost feels like really bad turbo lag. If I try and go past quarter throttle, maybe a little bit before half throttle, it spools almost all the way up and the boost kicks in but it doesn't feel normal or gradual like it should. If I let off and try to do it again, it does the same thing. After I drive it for a couple minutes and it warms up, it seems to slowly get better and then back to how it normally feels. I did a boost leak test a few weeks ago and it seemed to be leak free. I've got a Manual 95 GSX. As far as mods done I have a short ram intake, and a Greddy Blow Off Valve. Does anyone know what this could be? Could it be a sticky wastegate actuator?

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Sorry if this has been posted already. Thanks

-Troy

Re: Boost Issue

Nope It's recirculated. I make sure that hose is tightened down.

Re: Boost Issue

I had your exact same setup at one point on my 97 GSX, and all I know is that it's something in the T25, assuming you still have the T25, maybe bad oil feed/water lines? That's an educated guess. After I switched to a bigger turbo with new lines I never had that issue again.
