auto to manual swap... difficult?

Just wondering if anyone has done a auto to manual swap in a talon, to let me know if its pretty hard to do or not. Found a clean 1g for sale, but it is an automatic and has some motor issues. The motor swap wont be a problem but the manual swap is what I was worried about. check it out-

Just seeing if its worth the work. And any ideas on what's up with the car, I will try to get more info from the guy.

Re: auto to manual swap... difficult?

I was not planning on paying that price, but I really want a manual. No offense to auto drivers but it's just more fun to drive manual in my mind. And I don't even mind the rush hour stop and go stuff. But let me know I still may be intrested in buying the car you got in mind.

Think I'm gonna pass, I will probably just wait it out and look for a manual. I really want a flip up headlight design, I have had two 1992's (laser and talon), want something different.

Dude, seriously? RTFF, Twack just asked what all it would take to do the auto to manual swap. Its been beaten to death. Its not that hard. Just time consuming, and you will need a donor car to do it. Or at the least you are going to have to acquire all the parts that I have listed on a post on this site. Use the little search button and figure this shit out. There is also this wonderful site called the VFAQ.com that will tell you everything you wanted to know and more about doing a freaking auto to manual swap.
