Loss in boost and CEL P1104

Ok, so I have a 1999 Eclipse GS-T w/ 3" turboback catless, UICP, NGR Type S BOV, K&N Filter and aftermarket intake pipe... I was running 15psi steady on the stock turbo for quite some time... Just recently I noticed it go down to around 10psi range and lower... I did a BLT and found no major leaks, and I am still getting around 20-23 in vac. However, the car finally threw a code P1104, which according to the chilton manual, its the turbocharger wastegate solenoid malfunction, or I've otherwise found known as the boost control solenoid. Would this be a cause in my loss of boost? I'm going to get a new one regardless, and more then likely get a manual boost controller fairly soon. It sucks, because the car feels so sluggish when its only aroud the 7-11psi range.

That sure sounds like the problem, the stock spring should be around that range so that would explain why you lost boost, and threw the CEL.

Time for an MBC.

haha I have no idea... I ordered a new boost solenoid, and a Hallman PRO RX MBC, so I should be good right?
