95-96 LSD rear diff in 97-99 dsm?

I've been researching this for about an hour now just to make sure this is going to work, but I can't find a definite answer. Does anyone know if there is any issue with swapping an awd lsd rear diff from a 95-96 dsm into a 97-99 dsm? Is it compatible?

I did a little digging to confirm what I thought. The rear diffs are the same.

The gear ratio differences 95-96 vs 97-99 are in the front diff and t-case, not the rear diff.
