Re: auto to manual
No, just pull covers off the ignition area and remove the spring in the lock cylinder that triggers the saftey switch, and tape the switch back.... if I recall correctly. OR just take the center console out, and push the cable all the way forward and tape it.
You will be fine.

Re: auto to manual
ok so that covers that and if i remember on the manual trans its just the two drive shafts and shifter cables and 2 or 3 plugs so all the lines on the auto can be removed from the car? i know its sounds like a stupid questions just dont want to mess anything up

Re: auto to manual
Ok, then the rest of my info probably wont be relevant. But I did do this swap on a 1gb talon, so some of it could be relevant.
What lines and plugs are you talking about exactly??
I know on the 1gb you had to:
Cut the master cylinder hole out (it is templated and easy to do, just awkward)
Cut out the hole for the manual shifter cables as the auto ones ran to a different spot (again templated and easy to do, just awkward)
Remove the TCU (optional, but why not)
Run your clutch lines (no fun at all with engine in, easy with engine out)
Run your new shifter cables (good time to put in the solid bushings)
Mount the shifter (another good time for solid bushings)
then the axles obviously
And also I think you need to swap in a manual ECU as well.... dont quote me on this, but I'm almost positive you have to due to the different engine set-ups, and the fact the ECU will want info from the TCU.... again, not 100%, I swapped mine because I had it available.

Re: auto to manual
Those would be your trans cooler lines. Yes, you can get rid of those, just be sure to plug off the lines at the radiator so that water or other bads dont get into that area and corrode it. Could potentially lead to a bad coolant leak. This is just a precaution, not a necessity.

Re: auto to manual
I would double trace your lines, your P/S shouldn't be running through your radiator. Those lines at the bottom of the radiator should be for the transmission cooler.

Re: auto to manual
you will need the manual ecu for the 450 injectors which i pray you installed as well, but the big thing you ned to do is swap out the pedal assembly for the manual one with a clutch

Re: auto to manual
the pedal assy's should be the same, along with the master cylinder, shifter, and interior brackets, but I would assume that the cables will not be the same as the transmission is on the other side of the car is it not?

Correct. 420a's have the trans on the drivers side.
You can use the same bushings, but cables I would assume would not work.
