Exclamation O2 sensor replacement

alright I have a 92 talon AWD
about a week ago my check engin light turned on. I checked what my data looger was reading it as, it said it was the O2 sesor (the code was 11 if I was wrong about that)
andways I've had that sensor in for about 6 months because I replaced my O2 housing and I couldn't get my old sensor out (way to go no anti-sieze)
Anyways I had another O2 sensor just lying around so I figured I would just throw it in.
Now I had to har wire it in this time like I did the last time, but the new sensor (which is not a wideband) reads at 2.5 volts constant
alpinetsi (matt) said that It shouldn't be doing that so I was hoping somone might be able to tell me whats up

btw this is how the colors match up
factory aftermarket sensor
blue white
blue white
black black
white grey

Re: O2 sensor replacement

He had some of the wires backwards on the heater and ground signals. I think we got it figured out, but he hasn't gotten back to me.

I believe he had the two heater wires hooked to the two ground wires, the signal wire was correct, but had the ground reference for the sensor hooked to the power supply for the heater. Which would alter the voltage to ground resistance the ECU expects to see.
