Clicking~!!
So if I turn the wheels to the left, I hear weird sounds. Not necessarily clicking but clunking and shit? The suspension is much tigher than it was ( I just got alignment and a new ti rod ). Any ideas ? If It is something in the suspension, I should probably make tires plus fix that shit since this is all SINCE i got my alignment.
What would you do if you were me?

Re: Clicking~!!
Im pretty sure thats what it is. And if it is, Im sure tires plus ripped that boot while replacing the tie rod. I will be so fucking pissed. I hate shops that work like this. The idiot couldn't even get my car OFF the lift.

Re: Clicking~!!
Even if the boot is tore, it will take quite a while for it to wear out. It wouldn't be from the recent alignment, it would be a coincidence if it is the CV.

Re: Clicking~!!
i was thinking something along the lines that they didnt really remove it and pryed it out. It has been doing this shit since the second I drove it out of there and it didn't do it before.

Re: Clicking~!!
It takes quite a while for moisture and dirt to work its way into the inside of the axle if the boot is tore. Ussually the grease dries out and gets all sandy and the clicking starts. Might as well check the other side while your at it.

Re: Clicking~!!
well i would suggest bringing it back to the shop and ask them, "hey I have this clicking sound that I didn't have before" see what they say then you will know for sure what is wrong

Worst case cenario they will deny it and when they find out all the work wasn't performed by a "professional" they'll fight it even more. But those axles were purchased last summer only and you do have the reciept.

Re: Clicking~!!
Austing, you just put those new axles in last year after we did the clutch right? I too would bring it back because they shouldn't tear open that quickly.

Re: Clicking~!!
I am guessing the clicking no longer matters as he squished the car today. Said something about turning left, a red light, some idiot going 50 or so from the other way etc. Not sounding good for Austins old car.

Re: Clicking~!!
Now I want a chasis. Some kid decided to run a red light and hit me today. He admits hes at fault to me.. Lets see what he tells the insurance or some shit. This cop didnt even give him a ticket because he says " I think you learned your lesson" and pointed at the car smashed up against a light pole.
If anyone can get me any help I'd be very appreciative. I need either a cheap running DSM or a rolling chassis.
