MBC routing?

Before I cut over to this new FMIC I had a vacume hose from the bottom side of my MBC to a nipple on the j pipe, now with the new IC pipes there are no nipples, so where do I route this bottom MBC line to now?

TIA........

Re: MBC routing?

You'll run to the wastegate and the other just "T" into a vacuum source. I just T'd off the one that goes to the BOV. If it's like a Hallman boost controller like mine, the line with the restrictor goes to the wastegate. It's that simple.

Re: MBC routing?

Tapping into the BOV line is a good option when your compressor housing or outlet elbow doesn't have a fitting. Just buy a brass or plastic "T" of the correct size to match your vacuum hose at any hardware store.

Re: MBC routing?

No problem. Good luck.

PS- It's a good idea to secure them with a zippy tie to keep them from coming off. That's what i use rather than clamps.

Re: MBC routing?

I like to zip-tie every hose conection made whether its stock or modified as a precaution. Many potential problems and leaks can be avoided this way.
