Re: Clutch explosion

I certainly plan on taking the advice. Is there a place I should buy them or is direct the only/best way? I did some digging: http://www.jackstransmissions.com/pa...ars-and-ratios

Gives me all the reasons to keep my trans, but I need to make sure the ring gears and differentials are all in the same boat. However: http://www.jackstransmissions.com/pa...-rpm-and-speed

My ratios seem much more along the lines of stock gearing based on speed vs rpm. So until I really tear into things, I have no clue what concoction is really going on here.

My talon was originally an auto, so I can only hope that the people who did the swap were smart enough to match all these components. This doesn't exactly answer why my clutch let go yet, but if a rebuild is in order then so be it. I imagine the input shaft could be worn out and that the vibrations didn't help, along with cheap quality. I can only hope this hasn't hurt my bottom end.
