This gitmo thing amazes me. Supposeldy we have these "terrorists" who have been detained for what legitimate reason? They have no end date to their detainment, and no evidence saying why they are being held. Of course these people are going to join al-qeada. Wouldnt you want to blow something up if you were being held for 7 years with no charges pressed against you, and being tortured on top of it? Really now, use some common sense in that argument. We created the terrorist you will see come out of Gitmo. We have noone to blame but ourselves for letting Gitmo go as long as it has. Also we have just thrown fucking water on a grease fire and spread this anti-american sentiment all over the place now with Gitmo. I want to see what good it has done. Gitmo never should of been opened in the first place. If they have proof someone was a high up terrorist, then try them in country Iraq, and hang them in country Iraq. This is one area where we unfortunately have to use revolving door justice, and just get them when we can prove it. Without the proof they just become martyrs.
