I believe there needs to be reasonable suspicion to even detain someone. Well they haven't been tried or executed, so I don't see the problem. They are being held until a resonable solution can be determined. Many of our soldiers have been held in similar manners for years. Unfortunally the detainees at Gitmo are in an inbetween state. The world in general does not like how we handle foreign affairs, but never hesitate in asking for help. It really is a double edged sword.
My statement would be, I would not feel one bit of sadness if people dissappeared during transport.
