Re: Bullseye V-trim oil feed?

I may have a problem running the oil feed off of the head right now because it was blocked off a while ago (kicking my self right now). And it may be a permanent block off till I get my rebuilt cylinder head on there (which may be a while)

I called bullseye and he mentioned that the restriction is really just a band aid and he didn't recommend using one. He mentioned to just check the pressure and it should be somewhere between 60-80 psi if higher use a restriction.

Does 60-80 psi sound right for an oil pressure? How about with BS removed? I really don't know what these cars run and all I have used is that dummy gauge?

I found a compressor map for this and I will post it later with an analysis.

60-80 should be normal in the higher rpms. with bs removed it could be higher. I know some people have seen 120psi on a cold start and dropping as the engine warms up
